Bonar composed the original score for the 2023 BAFTA winning best documentary series  ‘Libby are you home yet’ the 3 part series for Sky docs which also also won the Broadcast Award for best True Crime Documentary.

Bonar’s work with director Karim Shah saw the Film ‘Afghanistan: No Country For Women’ (ITV) won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Investigative coverage in 2023 and The Grierson award for best current affairs documentary and A Rose D’or in 2022. . 

While a relative new comer to the media composing world , as an artist Bonar has had a long and rich career in electronic music releasing over 35 e.p’s and critically acclaimed albums. 

He has put his production touch to artists ranging from Lana Del Rey and Kylie to Byran Ferry, Hot Chip and Friendly Fires. Performing across the globe at almost every venue and festival of credible note.
